The free entries are free. The full collection costs £19.99 a year at the founding price (which works out to £1.67 a month) or £4.99 a month, after a 7-day free trial. The founding yearly price is yours for as long as you stay subscribed. If you cancel during the trial, you pay nothing. You can cancel any time from your account page, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for. Subscriptions renew automatically — yearly or monthly, matching your plan — until you cancel.

If you subscribe as a consumer in the UK or EU, you also have a statutory right to change your mind: cancel within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full — just write to hello@shalah.app or call +44 7377 751584.

The scripture we publish is drawn from public-domain translations, named on our scripture page. The reflections and prayers are our own work and are provided for personal use.

This app offers scripture, context and prayer. It is not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for professional help or emergency services. If you are in danger or in crisis, please contact emergency services or a crisis line — the app points to real-world help on the pages where it matters most.

We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
